Ward Thomas Release New Single ‘America’

It’s been a while since we’ve had new music from Ward Thomas but while we eagerly await a new original release the twin sister duo have delivered a stunning rendition of Razorlight’s global smash-hit ‘America’ to tide us over until they begin the campaign for their latest studio album.

Their cover version of the alt-pop track arrived on Friday, September 30th with very little promotional fanfare from sisters Catherine and Lizzy but that hasn’t stopped it from making some serious waves with many fans calling it “the best cover” they have released – a huge compliment for the hitmakers.

Ward Thomas always manage to put their own unique spin on any song they decide to cover and ‘America’ is no different as they perform their breathtaking vocal tricks that are laced with the wonderful nuances of their voices which are then brought to heady heights by their simply stunning sibling harmony.

There is something undeniably special about the Hampshire pair and this latest offering further cements their status as the standout duo of British country music and leaves fans wanting much more; especially as we know they have been in Nashville lately working on a new record that will follow-on from their pandemic LP ‘Invitation’

2023 is expected to be a hugely exciting year for the record-making country-pop crossover Brit duo with a new album ready to be independently released, which means a new tour is likely plus they will no doubt be performing at multiple European festivals throughout next year.
