C2C Festival 2024 Round-Up Review

Friday, March 8 – Sunday, March 10 Country Music took over the O2 Arena once again in London for the annual C2C (Country to Music) Festival – the largest and most successful country music festival outside of the US with the event bringing some of the biggest names in the genre to the UK for an incredible three days.

There are always standout headline acts such as Carly Pearce, Brothers Osborne, Old Dominion and Brad Paisley on the main arena stage but the pop-up side stages dotted in and around the arena tent are usually where you will find some “under the radar” gems that are destined to be the next big thing in country.

Here we round up some of the standout performers that stood out across the extended weekend at the O2 Arena including rising star pop-up stage acts and, main stage superstars,

CARLY PEARCE

Grammy award-winning Carly Pearce was listed as second billing on Friday night behind headliner Kane Brown, but her phenomenal set was littered with classics such as ‘Every Little Thing’, and ‘What He Didn’t Do’ along with new cuts including ‘Truck On Fire’ made her the true headline act of the night. The crowd’s reaction was something that will live long in the memory of those in attendance.

HALLE KEARNS

Nashville-based Halle Kearns played several times from Friday-Sunday on the pop-up side stages and quickly garnered huge queues to get into the tents thanks to her incredible vocal, and strong country lyricism with upcoming single ‘Homemade Margaritas’ being a real standout. She’s a truly fantastic talent and her C2C debut was incredible. Expect to see her in the UK many more times.

DOM ELLIS

Making his live debut in the UK, 18-year-old Dom Ellis became one of the standout and most talked about acts of the festival thanks to his incredibly rich and authentic country tone, and mature songwriting skill. He’s one to watch and with huge streaming numbers, he is set to become one of the major breakout artists of 2024.

OLD DOMINION

The headliner and closing act of the whole festival on Sunday, March 10th, Nashville’s Old Dominion brought the party to the packed arena with a showstopping performance. Even sound issues during the encore couldn’t dampen their barnstorming set, in-fact it added to the magic and made it one of the most memorable gigs of the whole line-up.

SOPHIA SCOTT

Nashville-based Sophia Scott rocked a number of side stage performances including the Barrelhouse which was packed out for the 30-minute set that saw her wowing new and old fans alike. She has plenty of new music coming soon and after her stellar C2C debut, we can expect her to become one of the breakout artists of the year.

HARPER GRACE

American Idol alumni Harper Grace made her C2C debut across the weekend with performances across multiple side stages and wowed the crowds each and every time. She’s a born storyteller with a killer vocal, and with an aura of a seasoned professional. She wore her heart on her sleeve and showcased a raw realism with true-life stories of childhood bullying and trauma and walking through the dark. Harper Grace is a name that will be on everyone’s lips soon.

ALANA SPRINGSTEEN

Following a hugely successful 2023 with the release of her debut album ‘Twenty Something’ Alana Springsteen made her sophomore appearance at C2C Festival this past weekend and once again wowed the huge crowds with her stellar set that demonstrates her star power. She is all set to become one of the leading female powerhouses.
