Hollie Shearer Releases New Single ‘1400 Days’

Rising country-pop talent Hollie Shearer is quickly becoming one of the most impressive voices within the ever-growing British country music scene and with her newest single ‘1400 Days’ which is lifted off her forthcoming debut EP, and the follow up to her breakout inaugural original release ‘Love You Better’, she showcases she is on course to become one of leading female artists across the genre.

The track focuses on a real-life breakup of Hollie’s which lasted exactly 1,400 days and tells the story of how the relationship fell apart with emotive lyrics such as “he never really said that he would never ever leave but he never really gave me any reason to believe that he’d stop dreaming of a life with me”.

Her soaring vocal range and the Shania Twain esque production means this track is a hugely impressive standout, the Newcastle singer/songwriter knows exactly what songs suit her voice and she never fails to deliver stellar tracks that pull in listeners from the off.

Speaking about her songwriting approach, Hollie Shearer states: “most of the songs I’ve written are based on personal experience, if not directly [personsl to me then someone I know I like to put myself in other people’s shoes sometimes too”. The forthcoming EP promises to be a real eclectic mix of true-to-life tales and standout country crossover productions.
