EXCLUSIVE: Tiffany Johnson Talks New Single ‘Out Of My Head’

Earlier this month fast-rising country music talent Tiffany Johnson shared her brilliant new single ‘Out Of My Head’ which is a stellar country-pop offering that also incorporates alt styles into the sonic backdrop making it a real standout release from the multi-talented artist.

Here we speak exclusively with Tiffany Johnson to find out more about her latest single:

How excited are you to be sharing your new single?

I’m super excited for “Out of My Head” to be released. We had such a fun time producing this song and it’s definitely one of my favorites off my upcoming EP!

How are you feeling about releasing new music during this period in history?

It is a weird time to be releasing music, but I think this past year has been such a big time of reflection for all of us. The songs I have been releasing capture a lot of the emotions we go through when we are reflecting on life. I think music is so powerful and helps us most, in these crazy times.

Can you tell us a little about what inspired the lyrical story of this song?

My new single tells the story of someone trying to move on. I think memories come back at the most unexpected times. Even when you think you have moved on, something will randomly remind you of the past. The song is all about trying to get those memories out of your head.

Who did you work with to create this project?

I wrote the lyrics, melody and guitar part myself, and then I produced the song with Griffin White.

What are you hoping listeners take away from the track?

I hope listeners, especially those who have had a similar experience after a relationship, are able to relate to the lyrics and know they are not alone.

Do you have any set goals in mind for what you’d like to achieve with this offering?

I really just want to be able to make an honest connection with the listeners and reach as many people as I can.

Do you have any plans to share a music video for this release?

As of right now I do not have any plans for a music video.

Can we expect this to act as a launchpad for a full length album?

Yes! I actually have a 6 song EP coming out on the 28th of August!

What are your promotional plans for this track considering all the current restrictions?

I am planning on doing a lot of promotion through social media. I can’t wait for these songs to be out in the world!

Looking ahead what else do you have in the pipeline for 2020?

I have already started working on writing and recording more music! Like I said earlier, I have a 6 song EP coming out on the 28th of August!
