American country music singer/songwriter Brittany McLamb returns on Friday, May 7th with her brand new single titled ‘Dear Mama’ with the track seeing her experimenting with her soundscape as she delivers a more traditional, organic style that’s totally fitting for her voice, and the lyrics of this offering.
The forthcoming song has been inspired by McLamb’s relationship with her mother and is being shared on the weekend of Mother’s Day in the US – a fitting tribute to the hard-working, and dedicated mum’s around the world and a story arc that will no doubt resonate with listeners around the globe.
Co-written alongside English songwriters Aidan Thompson and Ben Weighill, Brittany McLamb has brought to life the heartfelt release and encapsulated everything that is dear about mother’s around the world – it also features an exciting new sonic style from the singer/songwriter as she readies a brand new chapter.
Speaking about the track, Brittany says: “I’m adjusting my sound a bit as an artist to include a more traditional feel and this song is the first of that change. I wrote it about my mom and releasing it around the US Mother’s Day holiday (which is May 9th) seemed appropriate, but I feel it is relatable no matter what day of the year it is”.
