Lady A Announce New EP ‘What A Song Can Do (Chapter One)’
Fresh from formally announcing the exciting details of their forthcoming US tour, Grammy award-winning country music trio Lady A have today (Wednesday, June 9th) officially confirmed that their brand new EP titled ‘What A Song Can Do (Chapter One)’ will be dropping June 25th).
The upcoming collection from the Platinum-selling worldwide superstars will see them delivering seven brand new songs ahead of the Chapter 2 project, with the first installment of the record being spearheaded by their latest single ‘Things He Handed Down’ which releases on Friday, June 11th.
The newest extended offering from Lady A comes after a reflective twelve months during which they spent most of in rediscovery mode looking to truly find their selves and their sound once again before embarking on this new chapter together as a committed force once again.
The EP has been expertly produced by Dann Huff and every song featured on the tracklist has been penned by at least one member of the group, which allows them to reinvigorate their glorious rich vocal harmony and vibrant emotive writing that is all combined with a hybrid fusion of country, rock, and pop.
Speaking about the project, Lady A’s Hillary Scott says: “There’s an interdependence that we have with each other, and music is at the center of that to me. We are all living in the now together…we’re all a work in progress, and that is what we wanted to share with these songs on the first chapter.”
