Here at Music and Tour News, we are so delighted to be continuing our weekly Song Of The Week series alongside Modern Age Music Roots, and we are thrilled to confirm that this Monday’s chosen track comes from the wonderful talent Vic Allen with her newest single titled ‘Drive-Thru’.

Vic is without a doubt one of the most gifted musicians within the ever-growing, and ever-evolving UK country music scene and after spending much of lockdown working behind the scenes on new music she is back with her first official single since the start of the shutdown and what a comeback it is.

Inspired by her own late-night drive around Nashville, Tennessee with a now ex-lover, ‘Drive-Thru’ is an anthemic, upbeat track that is all about the heady moments of realising that you’re falling in love, and that moment of clarity that being with that one person is what happiness really feels like,

Expertly produced by renowned music maker Barnabas Shaw, who has worked with British artist Twinnie on much of her music, the feel-good offering has an excellent production overlay that allows for Vic Allen to truly showcase her vocal tone, and demonstrate the effortless control she has.

‘Drive-Thru’ is an absolutely brilliant country single and it’s one that allows for the multi-talented singer/songwriter to put the spotlight on her evolving, and maturing soundscape and songwriting talent as she shines a light on her outstanding artistry with a song that has the potential to be a huge chart hit.
