Carly Pearce Announces New EP ’29’

Country music singer/songwriter Carly Pearce is fast becoming the voice of her generation thanks to her emotive, and relatable storytelling, and powerful vocal control and as she continues to blaze a trail within the industry she is continuing to share her heart, and soul with listeners.

And following a turbulent yet hugely successful 2020 which saw her releasing a string of hit singles, and a phenomenal album, alongside seeing her tours shut-down due to lockdown, and the break-down of her marriage to fellow country music performer Michael Ray all of which has been played out in the public eye, Pearce has kept her faith and belief.

As always, music has been a big healer for Carly Pearce and throughout all the ups and downs of last year she never stopped creating and on Friday, February 19th she will share her heart, her truth, and her story with fans via a brand new EP titled ’29’ which is a poignant, personal body of work.

For the forthcoming project, Carly has poured her emotions into the songs featured and delivers a coming of age record that symbolises her maturity and releases her free of any creative shackles that may have been holding her back. This is Carly Pearce laid bare and it’s beautiful to see.

Speaking about ’29’, Carly says: “The best songs come from the moment, from real creative spark – and Josh and Shane bring it out of me. I was unsure where my music would be without Busbee. They both know where my musical heart is, and they understand how to capture exact details for much larger truths. The more specific they write, the more people I think can see themselves in the songs. I feel lighter reflecting on the last year and pouring my soul into this music and wanted to share it in hopes that others will take from the songs what they need. With streaming and social media, we were able to record music for the sole purpose of letting my fans know where my heart is without any expectations. That’s a kind of immediacy that makes making records really exciting. I can’t wait to share 29.”
