Carrie Underwood Announces New Album ‘My Savior’
Following the release of her brilliant Christmas album, ‘My Gift’ late last year, country music icon Carrie Underwood returns this March with the release of her brand new LP titled ‘My Gift’ which brings together a selection of uplifting hymns that hold a very dear place in Carrie’s heart.
The gospel record will be officially released across digital download and streaming platforms alongside a physical CD release via Capitol Nashville on March 26th and will be followed by a vinyl edition on April 30th with the project promising to showcase the performer’s powerful vocal-like never before.
With ‘My Savior’ Carrie Underwood once again joins forces with Grammy award-winning producer David Garcia who she also worked with for the 2018 smash-hit album ‘Cry Pretty’ with the pair once again showcasing that they have an effortless chemistry when it comes to crafting hit records.
The forthcoming and eagerly anticipated LP will feature a selection of Underwood’s versions of traditional gospel hymns and is being presented as a spiritual companion to the festive project ‘My Gift’ that wowed listeners when it was officially released across all platforms late in 2020.
Speaking about the project, CarrieUnderwood says: “It’s been such a blessing to make music like this, inspirational music that is near and dear to my heart. These two albums have been on my musical bucket list since the beginning of my career and were planned long before the events of the past year, but somehow it feels like the perfect time to share these beloved songs with the world.”
