Cassadee Pope Shares ‘What The Stars See’ Video

Earlier this month country music powerhouse Cassadee Pope shared her anthemic new single titled ‘What The Stars See’ featuring fellow country performers Lindsay Ell, and Karen Fairchild with the trio delivering one of the very best collaborations of this calendar year so far.

The standout track has quickly become a huge fan favourite amongst listeners and now Pope has shared the official music video for the song which allows for the lyrical story to take centre stage with a stunningly produced visual that has been expertly crafted by everyone involved.

The captivating clip is a colourful, and enchanting take on the voyeuristic sensibilities of iconic sci-fi action movie Blade Runner, and includes special guest appearances by both of the track’s featured vocalists, Karen Fairchild and Lindsay Ell, and has been directed by Ed Pryor and Executive Produced by Wes Edwards.

Speaking about the video, Cassadee Pope says: “The director, Ed Pryor, had me at the Blade Runner reference from his pitch! The video represents the frustrating inner dialog of wanting to know what your ex is doing now that you don’t have the luxury of knowing anymore. The song itself is bold and intense, so I’m incredibly excited that we were able to emulate that in the video with its dramatic lighting effects and energetic live performance.”

It is an excellently produced and directed music visual that enhances the already stellar lyrical story and it takes watchers on an intense and colour-filled journey creating a striking visual that elevates the whole track to the next level giving it a fantastic new promotional tool.
