Florida Georgia Line Release New Single ‘New Truck’
US country music duo Florida Georgia Line are currently gearing up for the release of their brand new studio album ‘Life Rolls On’ which drops on February 12th, and as promotion kicks into high gear the pair have now shared their latest single off the record with ‘New Truck’ dropping today (January 8th).
Their latest song is a hugely impressive, high-energy offering that captures the pure carefree joy that only a brand new vehicle can deliver, the stellar country hooks, and thumping bumps meanwhile bring the production of the song to another level giving a delightful taste of what’s to come from the LP.
The anthemic hit single was co-written and produced by Florida Georgia Lines’s Brian Kelley, and Tyler Hubbard alongside Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman, Priscilla Renea, Raysean Hairston, and Blake Redferrin with the multi-talented team perfectly crafting a banjo-laced backroad smash.
Speaking about ‘New Truck’, FGL’s Tyler says: “With ‘New Truck’ we were like, ‘Man, this feels good. I just want to ride around in my truck, listen to this, and have a song to jam to. When any of our buddies get a new truck now, we can send it to them and say, ‘Yo, bump this in the truck!’”
Whilst, Brian adds: “It feels really different and fresh. It’s got a fun innocence about it too.”
The standout track is a wonderful new teaser of what listeners and critics can expect from the duo’s upcoming project that drops next month and looks set to be one of the most exciting, and impressive albums of 2021, especially if this latest release from them is anything to go by.
