Hannah May Allison Releases New Single ‘Don’t Hate The Idea’

Fast-rising country-pop talent Hannah May Allison is currently revelling in the breakout success of her latest hit single ‘Safe’ which was most recently featured on Women of iHeartCountry and because of that global exposure the stellar song has since charted on Mediabase at number #81.

And with that track still garnering attention from critics and fans alike, Hannah is ready to build on that solid foundation of success with her latest offering titled ‘Don’t Hate The Idea’ which is available to stream and download and stream right now across all leading global digital platforms.

It’s a fantastic pop-country release from one of the genre’s most exciting new talents and one that allows her the opportunity to demonstrate that she has what it takes to become one of the leading crossover artists within the scene and take her blended soundscape right to the top of the charts.

Speaking about the single, Hannah May Allison says: “So, interestingly enough, the song title is something I say ALL the time. Especially in co-writing sessions I always find myself saying “ I don’t hate the idea” or “I don’t hate that”, and I had the title written down in my hook sheet for a good while. When I was dog-sitting for a family I work for, I started messing around with a melody I had for the song on their grand piano. I brought the idea into a co-writing session I had with the extremely talented Drea Gordon, and it just all fell together very effortlessly! I tend to downplay my feelings in a new relationship, even if I can really see it going somewhere. I think a lot of people can relate to that beginning stage of a relationship where you are caught in the middle between wanting to confess how you’re actually feeling, but also not wanting to share too much with someone too soon, and that’s what this song is all about!”

It’s a fantastic story arc to build the pop-infused track from and it’s a subject matter that will no doubt strike a chord with a wide and varied listenership giving Hannah further opportunity to grow her fanbase and take her music further into the mainstream market as she looks to propel herself to the top of the genre.
