Jordan Rainer Releases New Single ‘Crossfire’

Fast-rising Nashville based country singer/songwriter Jordan Rainer has shared her sass filled new single ‘Crossfire’ which is a huge anthemic offering from the incredibly talented artist as she continues on her path to global stardom with another stellar offering that showcases her impressive vocal and songwriting talent.

Penned by Rainer alongside Heidi Raye, and Josh Gleave and produced by 9x Music Row’s Guitarist of the Year and ACM’s Studio Recording winner Ilya Toshinskiy the standout single the performer’s incredible country twang alongside a stunningly curated lyrical story which creates a fiery track.

Telling the story of a woman who has been cheated on and then ultimately decides to take matters of revenge into her own hands with the tale then taking over the whole town ‘Crossfire’ is a song that will resonate with many listeners across the globe as the rising talent delivers a brilliant crossover offering.

Speaking about her latest release, Jordan Rainer says: “This is definitely one of the most fun writes I’ve ever been a part of. It took two different long writing sessions, to bring this lyric to a satisfying completion. Having spent a lot of time creating a background story for the song, Rainer and her co-writers wanted to get the story exactly right. We sat around sipping coffee and really let ourselves go into the world of this woman who’d been scorned and cheated on.”

The single also showcases a brilliant retro vibe with producer Toshinskiy taking a detour from the classic Nashville sonic style and instead uses a dobro/resonator guitar for the beginning which delivers an outstanding signature lick making ‘Crossfire’ one of the most ingenious releases of 2020.
