Kevin McGuire Announces New Single ‘Seeing Things’

Fresh from sharing his stunning live acoustic cover of ‘Cam’s global smash-hit ‘Diane’, Scottish country performer Kevin McGuire returns on Friday, February 26th with his brand new single ‘Seeing Things’ which is his first official release of the year kicking off what promises to be a breakout twelve months for the rising star.

The forthcoming track which has been co-written with Nashville writer Mason Thornley sees McGuire stepping up in a big way, both sonically, and lyrically with him delivering a stellar UK country soundscape ingrained with lyrical realism that shines a light on the struggles of moving on from a lover when that person lives in the same town.

As one of the most promising country music artists to be emerging onto the ever-growing UK scene, Kevin McGuire looks like he will become the genre’s biggest breakout star of 2021 thanks to his growing industry support from radio bigwigs, and record execs alike not to mention his fanbase is expanding at a rapid rate too.

Speaking about his newest single, and first Nashville co-write, Kevin says: “Seeing Things reignites the struggles of getting over your ex when you share the same town. Small things like the wine you drank together, to social media, to seeing them on the phone to someone else when that used to be you, just kills. Whilst so many of us can’t travel and escape the ‘4 walls’ of our hometown right now, I hope the song will hit home with the listeners”.

With ‘Seeing Things’ fast-rising British talent McGuire promises to deliver one of the most epic, and impressive country offerings of the year with a song that has the potential to reach listeners far and wide across the globe and put the Scotland native on the map as the next big thing.
