Liv Dawn Releases New Single ‘Welcome Home’

Fast-rising Scottish singer/songwriter Liv Dawn has created a stunning soundscape that beautifully blends elements of folk, pop, and country making her stylistic truly unique to herself as an artist, and as she continues to push boundaries within her sound, her star is continuing to rise at a rapid rate.

Back in 2019 her talent was recognised and celebrated by the BBC when she was selected as a much-deserved finalist in BBC Radio Scotland’s Singer/Songwriter of the Year Award where she performed her track ‘Welcome Home’ at the live award final held at Saint Luke’s in Glasgow.

Since that accolade, vocal powerhouse Liv Dawn has been getting her music and name out there thanks to a number of tour support slots including a run of dates on Tom Walker’s Home Run UK tour, and was also confirmed for the line-up of Glasgow’s Country to Country Festival.

And now she has returned to the charts with the official release of her award-winning hit ‘Welcome Home’ which is a gorgeous offering from the rising star with the lyrical story delicately exploring the feelings of a friend returning home and wondering if they have been changed by experiences.

Since performing the heartfelt song for the contest last year, Liv Dawn used her enforced downtime during lockdown this year to create a bolder sound for the offering and has blended in stunning new cello sounds that effortlessly brings a breathtaking new dynamic to the stellar track.
