Louise Parker Announces New Single ‘Bring It On (Set Me Free)’
Fast-rising Essex-based country music singer/songwriter Louise Parker is building quite the reputation for herself as a mainstay within the ever-growing British scene and with every release, she seems to better her past offering and on Friday (September 9th) she shares her latest single.
The forthcoming track from the English performer is titled ‘Bring It On (Set Me Free)’ which is a fantastically fierce, loud and bold country song that is laced with dark emo vibes which collide to create a brilliant and striking dynamic that will leave listeners wanting more from the skilled lyricist.
The standout track was written by Louise Parker, and recorded and produced by Louise and Paul at Wave Break Studio with the heartfelt lyrical story taking us on a journey through the five stages of grief; denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and finally acceptance of what you have lost.
Speaking about her newest single, Parker says: “They say an image speaks 1000 words and in this case, I believe that to be true. My next single was written when I was going through something really traumatic; it’s about accepting myself at my very lowest and realising I’m so much stronger than I know. Bring It On is a song that was written really quickly, by myself, during a time when everything was going on and all this stuff was being thrown at me and I needed to get these emotions out and let them go. My favourite lyric is the line in the chorus: ‘I put the low in lonely’. The 5-minute track has rain and thunderstorm sounds on it (because I’m so dramatic!) and features a guitar solo from Emily Aldrich”
It is a brilliantly structured track from the singer/songwriter who showcases her natural vocal ability alongside her standout songwriting and production skills which come together on this release to make it her best song yet.
