Moon Taxi Release New Version Of ‘Hometown Heroes’ Featuring Jimmie Allen

Back in March of this year country-Americana band, Moon Taxi wowed with the release of the poignant single ‘Hometown Heroes’ which has gone on to become an anthem of appreciation for the worlds brave and selfless frontline workers who have gone above and beyond this year.

The heartfelt lyrical story pays homage to those who selflessly put themselves forward and risk their own lives and safety in order to protect ours, which makes this offering a truly beautiful, poignant piece of art that sums up just how grateful we all are to those fighting to keep us safe and healthy, this year, and every other year too.

And now Moon Taxi have reimagined the outstanding Americana tinged offering by inviting country crossover superstar Jimmie Allen to add his voice to the track. The result is a phenomenal collaboration that brings a whole new dimension to the already stellar release making it one of the best releases of the year.

Speaking about the release, Moon Taxi’s Trevor Terndrup said: “Doing a collaboration in this crazy year seemed like a far fetched idea, but somehow it worked out. The collision of their voices on the single is truly wonderful and allows for the track to deliver another dynamic whilst also giving it a platform to reach a much wider audience, something it certainly deserves.
