Sarah Darling Shares ‘Song Still Gets Me’ Video

Following on from the digital release of her stunning new single titled ‘Song Still Gets Me’ several weeks ago, adopted Brit Sarah Darling has now shared the official music video for the standout track adding an extra dimension to the Carly Pearce, Emily Shackelton, and Gordie Sampson penned offering.

To bring the cinematic vision to life, Sarah has teamed up with the brilliant team over at Velvet Sky Film Studio whilst Jared Wayne Colby stars as the love interest in the deeply moving video that brings the heartwrenching song to life in a way that expertly expands on the message of the lyrics.

Sarah Darling is an artist who always makes sure her authenticity is stamped all over her works and with the official music video for ‘Song Still Gets Me’ she has ensured that the Darling magic is littered throughout with the clip encapsulating her overall vision for her latest release and forthcoming extended project.

Speaking about the track, Darling says: “As we get older, our lives become more complex, and images become layered. There’s nothing quite like a song to open the pages on our past, allow us a brief look back, and then close that book again”.

There is something delicately enchanting about the video that was filmed on the Old Hickory Lake in Nashville thanks to the flashes of black and white cinematography spliced with the colour visuals which creates a striking layered dynamic that only acts to further add a feeling of heartbreak and loss.
