SINGLE REVIEW: Eric & Jensen’s ‘Feels Like This’

On-the-rise British country music duo Eric & Jensen have kicked-off their musical chapter in style with the release of their debut single ‘Feels Like This’ which this past week rocketed to the top of the UK iTunes Country Music Singles Chart heralding the beginning of a successful year for the brothers.

Co-written by the pair alongside established Brit country crossover performers Twinnie, and Laura Oakes the duo have delivered a stellar country track that incorporates all aspects of the genre’s soundscape creating a dynamic production flow that puts them on the map as “the next big thing”.

Lyrically the song tells of the story of falling in love for the first time and that rush of feeling your heart choosing someone, and the challenges of being young lovers with doubters saying you’ll never make it but knowing it feels right and wanting to explore what comes next.

It has a thumping rock-tinged backdrop that elevates Eric & Jensen’s soaring vocal harmonies to the next level with the anthemic guitar offering feeling like a much-needed dose of summer – roll the windows down, drive the backroads, and turn the volume up is the theme of this track.

Country music always sounds better in the sunshine and ‘Feels Like This’ calls to be turned up to the fullest volume in the warm weather that’s on the horizon – festival season was made for this release and when festivals return this will be one of the most loved by crowds across the country.
