As the build-up to the release of their fourth studio album ‘Invitation’ continues, British country/pop duo Ward Thomas have kicked the promo campaign into the next gear with the release of their brand new single ‘Meant To Be Me’ which follows on from the stunning ‘Sweet Time’.

The latest offering once again showcases the Hampshire twins’ sonic evolution and maturity as they include a fusion of pop crossover sounds into their natural country-roots foundation while the stunning use of the mandolin means it always stays anchored to the country music genre along with the strong lyrical story of what could have been making it a hugely impressive release.

Overlayed with a hugely impressive sonic production that incorporates pop stylistics and a luscious roots strings led approach along with a combination of a finger-click backdrop that elevates it to heady heights and makes it one of the major standout releases of 2020 and once again allows for Ward Thomas to shine a light on their musical growth.
