The Southern Gothic Announce New EP ‘Burnin’ Moonlight’
American country crossover band The Southern Gothic are ready to transport their fans into another world with the release of their outstanding new EP ‘Burnin’ Moonlight’ which drops on December 4th and delivers a truly stellar multi-genre soundscape that is epically wonderful.
The record has so far been led by a string of hit singles including the streaming smash ‘Past Midnight’ which has so far racked up thousands of plays making it one of the most loved songs of the year, showcasing the strength of The Southern Gothic’s global reach. as they continue pushing sonic boundaries.
And now they are ready to take the scene by storm once again, this time with their glorious new EP ‘Burnin’ Moonlight’ which sees the band heralding in an exhilarating new era of fresh sonic styles, and standout country-influenced sounds that beautifully blend with multiple music genres.
For this new record and its stellar body of work, the group expertly explored different styles including alt-rock, country, and folk which all collide to create one truly outstanding blend which allows the band to create a distinctive genre sound that in 100 percent uniquely their own.
Speaking about the EP, The Southern Gothic say: “In the past, the songs have grown up on the road, and when we got to the studio, they were fully formed pieces, forged from hundreds of performances. On this record, the songs all I went in with an iPhone work tape, and got to sit down with some really talented people and experiment, which was a new and really exciting experience for me in music-making”.
