The Wandering Hearts Share ‘Gold’ Video

On Friday, July 30th, Americana, country-influenced British trio The Wandering Hearts will release their long-awaited, and hotly anticipated new self-titled album across all leading digital download, and streaming platforms alongside a full-scale physical release strategy.

The forthcoming record is set to be one of the most impressive bodies of work to be shared within the roots genre this musical calendar year and it is being led by the group’s latest single titled ‘Gold’ which is spearheading the album’s global promotional campaign across radio and media.

And along with sharing the official audio for ‘Gold’ across digital platforms, The Wandering Hearts have also released the music video for the standout song allowing for it to be given another dimension and an extra gear in terms of promo reach thanks to a stellar visual package.

Their latest single is also the first to be released via their new deal with Cooking Vinyl which kicks-off an exciting new era for the three-piece folk crossover band as they look to build-up to what promises to be a truly huge summer of new music, and hopefully tour dates if restrictions allow.

Speaking about the track, The Wandering Hearts say: “‘Gold’ stemmed from the idea of something becoming more beautiful after being broken. We had chatted about the Japanese art form kintsugi, which repairs pottery with lacquer mixed with gold. This was the perfect imagery for what we were writing about. Our scars are a visual representation of our struggles and our stories of loss are stories of survival. ‘Gold’ feels even more connected and poignant now, after a year of so much loss and everyone just trying to survive.”
