Ward Thomas Share ‘Don’t Be A Stranger’ Lyric Video Featuring Cam

Last month British country-pop duo Ward Thomas consisting of twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy wowed with the single release of the stunning ‘Invitation’ album track ‘Don’t Be A Stranger’ with the record featuring gorgeous guest vocals from Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Cam.

And with the song continuing to gain some major traction across national and international streaming platforms, and digital download charts, the performers have once again joined forces – this time for the release of an official lyric video for the stunning harmony-laden offering.

The clip has a wonderful at-home vibe thanks to Ward Thomas still being in lockdown in their Hampshire homes here in the UK, whilst restrictions are lifted enough in Tennessee to have allowed Cam the chance to head to the studio to film her cameo appearance in the lyrical visual.

Speaking about the collaboration, Catherine and Lizzy say: “We’ve always loved the idea of having another vocalist on ‘Don’t Be A Stranger’. We love Cam’s music and songwriting skills, but also admire her attitude as a Nashville artist on many issues close to our hearts. To have her sing on one of our songs is a real treat.”

Whilst Cam adds: “I love and miss the UK country community so much! I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with Lizzy & Catherine over the years and I just adore them and their killer harmonies. So of course I couldn’t say no when they asked me to join them on this addictive tune.”

It truly is a mesmerizing vocal blend that allows the trio of performers to showcase their sublime solo vocals before the tremendous harmony kicks-in paving the way for the track to hit heady heights that very few artists are able to reach making for a divine country smash-hit.
