LIVE REVIEW: Lady A @ Spotify House
Yesterday (Sunday, June 11th) Nashville-based Grammy award-winning band Lady A closed out their CMA Fest 2023 weekend with a stunning intimate showcase at the Spotify House venue situated at Ole Red on the Broadway strip in Downtown Nashville for what felt like a time travel back to their early days.
It feels like only in Music City would you get the chance to get such an up-close and personal performance from a globally renowned band as big and successful as Lady A and yesterday’s show was something truly special that will live long in the memory of those in attendance at the packed out venue.
Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood, and Charles Kelley are immensely talented musicians and to get the opportunity to see them in such an intimate setting when most fans are used to seeing them play arena and stadium shows and they truly delivered a set that took the fans on a journey from past to present.
Never a disappointment live, Lady A have all the hits needed to create a showstopping concert and their Spotify House gig was an unforgettable CMA Fest moment that allowed them the opportunity to perform some of their biggest hits to date and also preview a new track that will possibly be their next single.
There was an air of pure magic in the packed Ole Red yesterday on Broadway and this felt like we had gone back to the days 17 years ago when Lady A were just starting out and playing shows for free around the city to try and gain momentum and get eyes and ears on their music – they’ve come a long way since those days.
