The Highway Women Release New Single ‘Shake The Dust’
American country music foursome The Highway Women are back with their infectious new single ‘Shake The Dust’. The anthemic offering is their best release to date and showcases the immense musical growth they have undergone over the past several years.
The empowering track has been written by the bands Amanda Pruitt and Davis Corley and has been produced by Larry Beaird with Beaird Music Group. Speaking about the meaning of the song’s title and its lyrical meaning, Amanda says: “The inspiration for the song Shake The Dust is a phrase mentioned many times in the bible, speaking on leaving the negative behind and going on to something better. I want people to be inspired by the song and know that no matter what happens in life if you pick yourself up and carry on forward it will all be alright.”
Their latest release sees The Highway Women move further into the country crossover realm and delivers an intoxicating backdrop that inspires and motivates whilst maintaining truth and realism throughout. The Highway Women are on the brink of becoming huge global stars and with this latest release, they take another giant step towards that imminent future stardom.
Speaking about sharing this single at this pint in time, Kristen Kae says: “I have dreamed all of my life to be where I am right now, making this record and working on this project with my Highway Women Sisters is a dream come true. ‘Shake The Dust; is the first taste of new music from the four-piece group this year and follows on from their 2019 hit ‘Stand Up And Fight’ which has so far racked up in excess of 300k streams across streaming platform Spotify in the year that it’s been available for.
