EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Miller Campbell Talks Upcoming European Tour

Following the release of the latest single ‘For You’ back in June, Miller Campbell is getting ready to embark on a headline tour across Europe later this month and into August. Here we chat exclusively with Miller Campbell to discuss the upcoming run of dates:

I’m so beyond excited to be back in Europe. This will be my third tour overseas, and I’m still blown away by the support we’ve found there. The fact that my music found people on the other side of the world is something I’ll never take for granted. Getting to come back each year, see familiar faces, meet new fans, and watch it continue to grow is an incredible feeling. Honestly, touring the UK has become one of my favourite parts of the year.

Honestly, it’s the people. There’s just such a great live music scene across the UK, and every time we come back, it feels like we’re catching up with old friends. The crowds are super engaged, the venues are amazing, and everyone has been incredibly welcoming. We’ve made so many great friends over there, and that’s a huge part of why I look forward to coming back every time.

It honestly changes every tour! I’ll never forget our first show in London at Islington Hall. I said, “This next one’s called ‘Self-Medicated,'” and suddenly everyone started cheering, phones came out, and people were singing every word. I just remember being blown away that people were so excited to hear that song. It’s an indescribable feeling. Lately, it’s been really fun seeing people latch onto “Out of My Head” and “Alright.” Every tour, it feels like different songs start finding their moment, and I love that people keep digging deeper into the record.

That’s a tough one! I always love playing London, but I’m really excited for Barnoldswick and Crawley this year. One thing I try to do every time I come over is play a few places I haven’t been before, so every tour feels a little different. I love getting out of the bigger cities and seeing parts of the UK I probably never would’ve experienced otherwise.

It’s definitely a balancing act, but honestly, music is such a huge part of my life that it doesn’t really feel like separating work from personal life. Touring comes with a lot of behind-the-scenes work (planning, logistics, emails, travel… all the stuff people don’t really see), but once we hit the stage, it reminds me why I do it. I get to travel, meet incredible people, and play songs I wrote from the heart. I really can’t complain. I feel incredibly lucky to call this my job.

Show days are pretty much all about getting into the right headspace. I spend a lot of time thinking through the set, rehearsing, and making sure every little detail feels right-from what we’re wearing to the lighting to the music that’s playing before we even walk on stage. I want people to leave feeling like they were part of something special, not just that they watched another concert. The band and I usually get together a few hours before the show to run through everything, then it’s soundcheck, a relaxing band hang, and then it’s show time. After the gig, we’ll usually talk through how it went, grab some food and a drink, and finally relax. It’s definitely a full day, but it’s my favourite kind of day.

It feels like we’re just getting started. We’ve got a lot of exciting things happening behind the scenes that I can’t quite spill yet, but I can tell you we’ll be back in the UK in early 2027 for some incredible shows. We’ve got a brand new record on the way with a few singles dropping this summer, some really cool partnerships in the works, and we’ve been putting a ton of time into making the live show the best it’s ever been. It feels like everything we’ve been working toward over the last few years is finally starting to come together, and I seriously can’t wait for everyone to see what’s next.
