The Rising Announce New Single ‘I Want You’

Country/Rock duo The Rising consisting of Chris and Chantelle return this July with their brand new single ‘I Want You’. The track is part of their 2020 campaign which sees them sharing a single every month as they look to broaden their reach and grow their streaming numbers. So far the campaign has been going extremely well and on July 10th the Irish pair will drop their latest offering.

The much-anticipated song will be premiering on July 5th, exclusively via County Hits Radio UK and the official animated lyric video will be shared on the day of release. The latest release follows on from their previous song ‘Shadows On The Wall’, and ‘I Want You’ offers a little light relief with its summery vibes.

The Rising’s newest single focuses on the feeling of falling in love and those early heady days of lust but also brings to light those insecurities of not being sure that the other person feels the same as you do. Its a relatable tale and will no doubt resonate with listeners across the world.

With their monthly release strategy, The Rising have been experimenting with sonic sounds and have also been playing around with a variety of themes and subject matters. During quarantine, the pair have also discovered the joy of writing new material and instantly recording it.
