Juna N Joey Release ‘COVID Covers’ EP

Teen sibling duo Juna N Joey have further amplified their incredible growing career by sharing their stellar new EP ‘COVID Covers’ which is inspired by the ongoing global Coronavirsu pandemic with the self-produced project looking to encourage and provide young adults a sense of unity and grounding during quarantine.

The dynamic five-track project from the brother-sister duo has been shared via River Run Records and includes impressive re-imaginings of classic hits from global hitmakers Luke Combs, Eric Carmen The Carpenters, and Dido. The standout collection looks to present unity throughout whilst the pair’s stunning sibling harmonies breathe new life into the smash-hits.

Speaking about their newest release, Juna N Joey say: “The last few months have been incredibly hard for so many people, including our friends, many of who are teens. We wanted to produce a project that we could dedicate to those around us who have faced letdowns these last few months. From missed graduations, proms, sports seasons, college visits, and more. We hope that these songs can shed a little light on a time that has been very dim.”

The record was made in a very much DIY way with the siblings adhering to all CDC guidelines and state laws, the five tracks were recorded at their home studio in West Palm Beach, Fla. from their home studio and the whole project was mixed/mastered by their 18-year old lead guitarist Dylan Thomas.

The result of an organically made record with much thought put into what each song means and the kind of messaging weaved throughout the tracklist, ‘COVID Covers’, is a hugely impressive release from the fast-rising country-pop duo who are looking set to completely take the scene by storm.
