Devon Beck Releases Debut EP ‘One Sided Expectations’

Fast-rising country-pop crossover sensation Devon Beck is ready to take the genre by storm with the release of her outstanding debut EP ‘One Sided Expectations’. The record is the first extended-release from the recent High School graduate and it puts her on the map as “the next big thing”.

Hailing from Pennsylvania, Beck recently made the move to Nashville in order to pursue her music career and since settling in Music City she has quickly garnered major attention from artists, writers, and insiders with Jimmie Allen naming her as “an artist to watch”.

And with her inaugural EP ‘One Sided Expectations’ she brings together a stunning sonic blend of both country and pop to create a stylistic that is a hundred percent unique to herself as an artist. The record is filled with honest, relatable stories that are beautifully weaved throughout the lyrical approach signaling the start of a hugely successful career for Beck.

Speaking about the 4-track project, Devon Beck says: “Having just graduated from high school, the inspiration [behind] most of my songs is really just a reflection of all the heartbreak you go through as a teenager, Each song is pretty much a story related to a moment in time over the past few years that had a pretty deep effect on who I am, whether I was in the wrong or the person who hurt me was in the wrong.”

The EP is a beautiful piece of artistry that sets Devon apart from her fellow rising country acts as a major player within the ever-growing scene. She is a multi-talented singer/songwriter with a wonderful introspective narrative that is sewn into the very fabric of each and every song she creates.
