Mikie Henderson Announces New Single ‘Now Is The Time’

Back in June of this year, Brit country music performer Mike Henderson shared his brilliant debut single ‘If Only’ which charted impressively on the Official iTunes UK Country Chart allowing for the rising star to begin a foundation to which he can now build on as he begins to break out further onto the scene.

And now Mikie has confirmed that his eagerly anticipated sophomore single titled ‘Now Is The Time’ will be dropping on Friday, September 25th with the lyrical story focusing on that simple every day to day feeling that we so often take for granted; coming home to your loved one at the end of the night.

The impressive track also brings back the classic driving guitar solos, and incredible guitar hooks whilst also featuring an insanely catchy chorus making the track the perfect sing-a-long anthem that will no doubt go down a storm at festivals when they return in the future following the Coronavirus shutdown.

Speaking about his forthcoming release, Mikie Henderson says: “Now Is The Time is the most fun I’ve ever had writing a song. I knew I wanted to write an upbeat and happy song and set out my writing session with that thought in mind. I wanted to make a special effort not to write about a breakup, which is such a common theme, so I just got to thinking – why not write about the exact opposite situation. I was sat next to my piano (the piano didn’t actually feature in the recording in the end), and it was a writing session where the song just comes to you without any effort or stress.”

The hard work that went into the well thought out lyrical story has undeniably paid off for Henderson as he has created a truly stellar country-rock anthem with ‘Now Is The Time’ that pleads to be played loud and especially lends itself to be blasted out on long road trips with the windows down.
