Justin Moore Releases New Single ‘We Didn’t Have Much’

Nashville based country music singer/songwriter Justin Moore is feeling reminiscent on his brand new single ‘We Didn’t Have Much’ which sees him looking back fondly on his early years where all he needed to feel safe and happy was his loyal pet dog, a loving family, and good Sunday chicken.

The track is all about looking back on those simple childhood days and remembering the times when life felt easy before transcending into the story of leaving home aged 18, and the emotions of falling in love for the very first time, and more coming of age moment; it is a stellar track with a killer lyrical story.

The single is the first to be lifted off Moore’s forthcoming sixth studio album which is slated for release next year and ‘We Didn’t Have Much’ delivers a wonderful first taste of the record whilst whetting fans’ appetites for what’s to come from what promises to be a truly standout collection.

Speaking about his latest offering, Justin Moore says: “I’m really excited to get ‘We Didn’t Have Much’ out to Country radio. It sounds different than any other song we’ve released to radio in my career. I think it’s a poignant lyric for this time in our lives also. 2020 has led my family and I to lead a more simple life than what we are accustomed to. This song speaks to the beauty in that simplicity,”

Produced by Jeremy Stover and Scott Borchetta, and penned by Stover, Randy Montana, and Paul DiGiovanni continues the legacy of Moore’s outstanding traditional country sound whilst also allowing him to bring new sonic elements into his stylistic creating a brilliant new avenue for his music.
