Lauren Teel Announces Self-Titled Debut EP

On-the-rise country music crossover artist Lauren Teel is a songwriter who always writes her truth and as she continues to grow as an artist she is ready to dig even deeper with the release of her self-titled debut EP which is slated for release on Friday, November 3rd with the record set to be one of the best of the year.

Having been penning songs since she was just 12 years old, Lauren knows exactly what she wants to say and how she wants to say it and as she continues to grow as a performer she is also branching out into producing making her an all-round creative who has the world at her feet.

Her forthcoming project also stems from those early years with much of the record being inspired by a crush she had on a boy in class when she was just 13 – a tale most will be able to resonate with. It’s a stellar collection and one that shines a light on the exciting career that lays ahead for the American.

Speaking about her inaugural EP, Lauren Teel says: “At 13, I was falling for the class clown in my theatre class whose name kept lingering in my mind. I had bits and pieces of a song but couldn’t quite fit them all together until months went by and I came up with a pre-chorus that connected all the lyrics. It’s not always easy to look back at your past and wonder what could’ve been if someone would’ve cared or if someone noticed how much you cared. It’s not always simple thinking about if you had grown up somewhere else. It’s always hard looking back on what failed.”

The upcoming EP from Lauren is to put the wheels in motion on her promising career as she continues to push toward global chart success and on November 3rd this collection is set to cement her status as “the next big thing” in country music and will no doubt win her a whole host of new fans.
