Nikita Skogen Releases Debut Single ‘Break Your Heart’

On-the-rise country music talent Nikita Skogen is ready to become the next big thing in country music with the release of her debut single ‘Break Your Heart’ which incorporates a sonic blend of classic country vibes, and modern-day pop crossover stylistics making for a unique soundscape.

The track has been produced by renowned music producer Davis Branch who has done a brilliant job of overlaying the lyrical story with a fitting melody that elevates the song to heady heights allowing for it to have its own personality that gives Skogen the platform to let her vocal shine.

Lyrically the song focuses on a modern-day love story with the story being expertly crafted by Norwegian artist Nikita Skogen who has split her time between her native Norway, and music city; Nashville in order to bring her country music dream to life whilst balancing family life too.

Speaking about the new release, Nikita says: “This has been quite the journey and I am so grateful for my team down in Nashville that has been working hard to make this happen. My producer Davis Branch, who also helped me write the lyrics is an amazing producer. But also a great person. He has been so patient but at the same time, he has worked fast. Everything gets sent back and forward between Norway and Nashville and that’s quite the process. I really want to thank him for the work he has done on this single. I also want to give a big thanks to my guitar player on this song, Charlie Lance, an amazing guitarist. There have been so many people along the way that have supported me to make this happen as well. My fellow artists who have given advice and support all the way. Especially my friends over in the UK. And of course my Family at home. My fiance and kids for letting me make this dream come true”.

The journey to making this debut release a reality has been a long one for Nikita Skogen but it has been a fun one too despite many challenges along the way, and now with the song officially out in the world it is the beginning of something truly beautiful for the rising star as she begins a brand new chapter.
