Twinnie Shares ‘Driving Home For Christmas’ Video

Today (November 20th) York singer/songwriter Twinnie has wowed her growing fanbase with the release of her stunning version of Chris Rea’s global smash-hit ‘Driving Home For Christmas’ with her putting her own beautiful unique vocal spin on the classic totally making it her own.

Her vocal delivery is raw, emotive, and stripped back as she delivers a gorgeous pulled back performance allowing for the lyrical story to take centre stage as she reigns in the powerful edge of her voice to let the story arc play out as she brings the track to life in a beautifully stunning way.

This year, the bittersweet story of the song feels even more relevant as many people across the world will be unable to head home this festive season due to ongoing travel restrictions and lockdowns, but for those who will get the chance to see loved ones it is going to be an emotional reunion and Twinnie has wrapped up those feeling into her breathtaking rendition.

And as the release begins to gain traction across streaming and digital download platforms, the British country-pop crossover sensation has now shared the official music video for the track with the simply shot clip showing her headed home for the holiday season on a late winters night with all the anticipation of spending time with loved ones on Christmas.

It’s a sweet visual that brings the lyrical story to life perfectly and instantly feels festive thanks to the packed roads seemingly full of people eager to get to their family homes in time for the holiday season. It’s a wonderful offering from Twinnie and one that is sure to delight her growing army of fans.
