Life On Eris Release New Single ‘Lovely, Dark and Deep

Husband and wife duo Life On Eris consisting of Chris Carmack and Erin Slaver have produced one of the most epic country releases of the year with their stunning new single ‘Lovely, Dark and Deep’ with the track bringing 2020 to a close whilst ushering in an exciting forthcoming era that will begin in 2021.

Carmack is best known for playing country music star Will Lexington in the hit US TV drama Nashville and now teaming up with his beloved wife for this duo partnership the pair have enriched the ever-growing country scene with this emotive song that showcases their gorgeous vocal harmonies.

The evocative single was produced and written by Chris and Erin Slaver and sees them bringing an intriguing interpretation of the Robert Frost poem ‘Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening’, with haunting melodies, and intricate lyrics weaved throughout Life On Eris have crafted one of the major standout offerings of the year.

The multi-talented pair also play every single one of the instruments you can hear featured on the impressive track too including bass, mandolin, and violin making it a wonderful labor of love that is stamped with their beautiful trademark luscious soundscape of intoxicating country vibes.

Speaking to People about the release, Erin Slaver said: “The world is stuck in the woods right now, but, like the poem says, if we want to get back to the promises we have to keep, we have to remember that we will get out of the woods eventually. We have to power through all of this craziness right now, so we can eventually get through the dark and find our way back.”
