What Does Twinnie Have In The Pipeline For 2021?
2020 was originally dubbed “the year of Twinnie” with the singer/songwriter having been ready to take the country-pop world by storm with her first headlining tour, US radio EP, debut album, and much more on the cards. Of course, the Coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdowns put an end to many of her plans.
However, despite restrictions putting many obstacles in her way, 2020 was still very much a breakout year for the Brit crossover sensation with the twelve months seeing her release her long-awaited debut LP ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ just 3 weeks into the first national UK lockdown back in April.
The CD was a huge success despite having a muted release strategy due to a ban on live performances, and quarantine meaning that record stores were closed which meant that physical copies never made it to the shelves but that didn’t stop the album from becoming a major chart success.
In fact, it probably gave it a little boost, as with so many people stuck at home the impressive project become the soundtrack to lockdown for a lot of fans, and later in the year, she followed the record up with the re-release of the LP this time in acoustic form breathing new life into the standout tracklist of pop-infused hits.
And now as we begin 2021, Twinnie is looking to build on that incredible foundation of success that she built across 2020 in the most challenging of circumstances. The multi-talented performer has a tour penciled in for September with the string of dates having been postponed twice last year. This will hopefully be the third time lucky for the singer who has yet to take her inaugural full-length collection on the road.
The coming months will also see the York artist officially launch the Breaking Through podcast which she will host alongside close friend and fellow musician Ariel Lask with the series looking to uplift, and inspire those working in creative industries and shine a light on the small victories.
Along with the podcast, the singer/songwriter also has plenty of musical projects lined up including more singles, music videos, and possibly another version of the ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ album, and has a few acting jobs in the pipeline too which also includes an exciting Netflix series that she teased during an interview on Sunday Brunch late last year.
Fans can also expect plenty of entertaining social media content from the rising star as she continues to push for global stardom and with more records ready to be shared alongside film and TV projects it’s only a matter of time before Twinnie becomes one of the most recognised performers within the industry.
