Here at Music and Tour News, we are delighted to be teaming up with the folks over at Modern Age Music Roots to bring you our chosen Song Of The Week every Monday at 7 pm and our first choice is Megan O’Neill’s gorgeous cover of Jim Croce’s timeless classic ‘Time In A Bottle’.

The Irish singer/songwriter always has a beautiful way of conveying a message via song and her divine cover of this ageless track is laced with emotion and gorgeous vocals from an artist able to make any song uniquely her own and she certainly does just that with this offering.

Her standout version of ‘Time In A Bottle’ is a glorious countrified rendition of the piano-led ballad that perfectly lends itself to Megan O’Neill’s sweet, lilting vocal delivery that allows her to blend her soulful voice with the simplistic production overlay and sentimental lyrical story.

There is something hauntingly beautiful about Megan’s soaring cover of the heartfelt, poignant song and thanks to her personal soundscape the track feels fresh and exciting whilst retaining the magic of the original making it a hugely impressive release from the multi-talented performer.
