Emma Moore Annnounces New Single ‘Husbands Or Kids’
Fiesty British country music performer and powerhouse vocalist Emma Moore is ready to take her promising career to the next level with her latest sass-filled offering ‘Husbands Or Kids’ which will be dropping across all leading streaming, and digital download platforms from Friday, March 5th.
Having shared her debut album ‘Pilot’ back in 2016, Moore’s music has gone from strength to strength and as she continues to grow as an artist her alternative world views are fusing more and more with her alt-country stylistic that wonderfully blends rock elements to create a stellar soundscape.
And using that as a base for her newest single ‘Husbands Or Kids’, Emma Moore delivers a striking song that creates a dynamic story arc of the importance of knowing exactly what you want (or don’t want) from life, and relationships and having the patience to wait for the right moment and person to come along.
In a world that’s constantly rushing us to reach the next milestone, it’s refreshing to hear a young singer/songwriter showing through beautifully constructed lyrics that it’s okay to wait, and it’s perfectly fine to say no because you know deep down this isn’t the right step to be taking.
Speaking about the forthcoming single, Emma Moore says: “Sometimes as writers, we can be drawn much more to the melancholy and reflective songs or ideas, where we think and feel deeply and poetically. I have to admit that’s where I feel the most comfortable when writing, but sometimes, even in moments of despair, you just have to laugh – and that’s where this track sits. The search for love is about as universal as you can get, and stumbling along that journey is almost as common, but when I wrote this song a few years back I felt like I was trapped in a bad rom-com. Not as the gorgeous and funny lead character that found her charming forever love, oh no. I was very much in the comedic sidekick role, visible only to the worst choices, and where my only choice was to laugh about it.”
