Brett Young Releases New Single ‘You Got Away With It’

Having spent most of last year in lockdown country music artist Brett Young spent that time wisely and used it to create a bunch of new music and one of those songs was ‘You Got Away With It’ which has been officially released today (February 26th) across all leading digital download and streaming platforms.

The anthemic offering from Young sees him delivering a stellar song that has a sky-scraper chorus that is begging for the festival season so that fans can belt out the words – the time for when that is safe to do cannot come soon enough and this will be one of the favorites for concert-goers to sing-a-long to.

With ‘You Got Away With It’, Brett Young ushers in an exhilarating new chapter that looks to build on the incredible foundation of success that the global smash-hit single ‘Lady’ has so far garnered across the world and allows for him to showcase yet another side to his eclectic soundscape.

Speaking about the song, Brett states: “We’ve been recording a ton of music over the last year and I couldn’t wait any longer to share some of the material from this new chapter. This song was a blast to write, and ultimately pushed me into a bit of new sonic territory in the studio that I’m really proud of.”

It’s an excellent release from an artist unafraid to take sonic risks in order to create the best music he can and with this offering, he has driven down a different avenue in terms of sound and production styles and it is a gamble that has paid off massively from the chart superstar.
