Kelsey Bovey Announces New EP ‘XOXO’
Following on from the success of her breakout single ‘I Found Me’, fast-rising country performer Kelsey Bovey returns on Friday, April 2nd with the record available to pre-save right now ahead of its drop date across all leading digital download and streaming platforms.
The forthcoming collection is a coming-of-age project that sees Bovey delving into her psyche to create a dynamic, and thought-provoking tracklist that is steeped in classic country stylistics making for a sweeping, and uplifting soundscape that puts her on the map as the “next big thing”.
Influenced by the likes of Gabby Barrett, and Taylor Swift the EP showcases Kelsey Bovey’s growing maturity both as a vocalist and a songwriter with lyrical themes that are way beyond her young 19-years making her a truly exciting talent that makes the growing scene even more fascinating.
Speaking about the project, Kelsey says: “I wanted the music in this record to be a complete extension of who I am as a person. I wanted to incorporate the worst and best parts of my teenage years into 4 songs that I knew I could communicate to an audience because they were autobiographical in nature. I’m so grateful to all the people who continue to support what I do, and I really hope they enjoy these songs which truly represent who I am and what I’m about”
