Foreign Affairs Announce New Single ‘Rosanna’

On-the-rise Bristol-based country/Americana duo Foreign Affairs have quickly become one of the most dynamic vocal harmony acts since arriving onto the scene several years ago and they are expected to see their success skyrocket with the release of their latest single ‘Rosanna’.

The forthcoming track will be dropping on Friday, April 9th, and will see them delving into the singer/songwriter vibe that is laced throughout their impressive soundscape – a style that perfectly suits their laid-back voices, and strong storytelling lyrical style making for a standout stylistic.

The new single is an indie-folk offering that builds on the layered musical sound they have been creating in recent years whilst they pair the lyrics with an affecting acoustic-driven production backdrop which creates a dynamic and sweeping style that puts Foreign Affairs on the map.

Speaking about the song, the duo state: “At some point, everybody is or has been ‘Rosanna’. You’re either helping or being helped, maybe both. The song is a battle between being vulnerable but also wanting to still be strong. We wanted to use a name and put an Identity behind the song instead of it being faceless and in a weird way, we felt it actually made it more relatable. We’re proud of the sound we’ve captured with ‘Rosanna’ and the way our production and writing has matured”.

It’s an excellent release from the UK country-influenced pair and one that showcases their ever-maturing vocal, and songwriting style as they continue to experiment with different genre influences in order to capture their most authentic and honest sound that is truly Foreign Affairs.
