J.R. Harbridge Releases New Album ‘Long Black River’

Homegrown UK singer/songwriter J.R Harbridge is building up a strong and loyal fanbase within the ever-growing country crossover scene across Britain thanks to his rock-tinged soundscape that offers listeners a little bit of grit to go alongside the smooth country stylistic.

He has a unique talent of being able to appeal to a variety of music fans as he incorporates rock, country, and Americana elements into his production sound allowing for him to reach a broad listenership of multiple age groups and nationalities – he is a talent that is quickly rising up the ranks.

The piano and organ parts, courtesy of Pete Larkin, sit alongside the best you have heard, and the drums and bass (Mark Bates and Thom Mapes) fit like a glove. Guest appearances by Paul Scott Connop (Scott Matthews’ guitarist), whose solo in ‘Long Black River’ is up there with the Jimmy Pages of this world and Nick Clarke’s Tele-twang in ‘You Saved Me Twice’ just makes the difference.”
