Kris Barclay Releases New Single ‘Right Here’

On-the-rise country music talent Kris Barclay is back with his newest single titled ‘Right Here’ which is available to stream and download right now across all leading digital platforms and it is the first official taste of what is set to be a summer full of brilliant new music from Barclay.

Having been touring with a whole bunch of artists cross the genre over the course of the past eight years, 2021 is set to be the year that the multi-talented singer/songwriter puts his music on the map, and with this latest offering, he kick-starts what is set to be a truly exciting musical chapter.

Since being voted by fans as the wildcard entry into the Emerging Artist Showcase back in 2018, the Canadian artist has seen his sound grow and mature and his global reach grow at a rapid rate, and this latest track is set to push him further toward global mainstream success.

Speaking about the single, Kris Barclay says: “Right Here is a song that is all about being proud of where you come from. Growing up playing sports and representing my hometown, there was always a sense of pride, both when teams from other places came to your city or being in other places, that has always stuck with me. Since transitioning from sports into music, traveling, and being on the road playing shows in all kinds of towns and cities, I’ve always found people are proud of where they are and excited to share a little piece of it with you. Whether it’s a coffee shop or restaurant, a hometown brewery, or a well-known story about the town or people that grew up there, people are always ready to share. I wanted to try and capture that in this song, and I can’t wait to continue traveling to more places and learn about other people’s “Right Here” and what that place means to them”.

It’s an excellently crafted lyrical story from Barclay that puts listeners in the heart of the song creating a dynamic, and luscious soundscape that allows for his vocal to shine as he looks to gain some serious traction for his musical releases this year and beyond and break out into the worldwide market.
