Artist Of The Month – Twinnie
In our new series Artist Of The Month which will be published on the first Monday of every month going forward, we will be putting the spotlight on one country artist who needs to be on your radar and we are delighted to announce that the first featured artist is singer/songwriter Twinnie.
Effortlessly blending pop, and soft-rock into her country soundscape, the York performer is a multi-faceted musician who weaves between sonic styles with ease creating a sound that is uniquely her own, and like Shania Twain before her, she is creating a new description of what country music is.
Her debut album ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ which was released during lockdown 1.0 in 2020 was an excellent introduction to Twinnie, and her music as she brought together an eclectic hybrid sonic fusion that never stood still and took listeners on a journey of her many musical influences, showcasing that her artistry is truly incredible.
Since that record, the English talent hasn’t stopped creating and has subsequently released several new singles, an acoustic version of the LP, and also a five-track reimagined version of the soundtrack, and is currently based out in Nashville working on an EP to take to Country Radio in the US.
In the last twelve months, Twinnie has also found the time to start a new business venture with the I Know A Woman initiative which has been co-founded alongside fellow performer Summer Overstreet with the pair spearheading a movement of change within the music industry.
The gifted creative has also begun a YouTube series that sees her uploading gorgeous covers every week under the Twinnie Tunes Tuesday’s banner which allows her the opportunity to shine a light on her rich vocal tone whilst keeping listeners engaged in between new releases.
