Here at Music and Tour News HQ, we are absolutely delighted to still be partnering with the wonderful folk over at live promotion company Modern Age Music to bring you our chosen Song Of The Week every Monday evening and we are thrilled to announce Megan Rose’s ‘You & Me’ as this week’s pick.
Megan is quickly rising up the ranks and becoming one of the most talked-about country-pop artists across the UK scene thanks to her unique brand of the genre’s style that incorporates both modern, and old-school vibes that is able to appeal to both sides of the fanbase making her music easily accessible.
And with her latest offering titled ‘You & Me’, she is putting the building blocks in place to further enhance her global appeal that is rapidly growing – it is a stellar release from the skilled songwriter and vocalist that gives her the opportunity to put the spotlight on the strength of her vocal control.
The soft ballad has sweet lilting undertones that give power to Rose’s smooth voice as she delivers a wonderfully constructed track that has been superbly well-written with the heartfelt lyrical story focusing on knowing you have found the “one” and the security and peace that comes with that.
It’s a poignant reminder that true love exists and an excellent addition to the ‘Fantasia’ EP that this track has been lifted off of – Megan Rose is a special talent and this song emphasises her standout talent. It’s one that will no doubt allow her to grow her listenership further and invite new listeners too.
