Sarah Darling Shares ‘Waves’ Video

Following on from the official audio release of the stunningly constructed single ‘Waves’, country singer/songwriter Sarah Darling has now shared the official music video for the gorgeous track which dropped across all leading digital streaming platforms on Friday, October 22nd signalling a new era.

With the aetherial visual, Darling encapsulates the song’s airy vibe with stunning beach shots, that are incorporated into the Stevie Nicks esque aesthetic making for one of the best visual adaptions of a country song in recent months – this perfectly captures the new cross-genre sound the performer is making at the moment.

Shot in California, the ‘Waves’ video sees Sarah Darling on the beach getting lost in the memory of an old-flame whilst daydreaming about what could have been whilst shots of indoor retro stylings, and outdoor country backdrops are laced throughout creating a fantastic 70s throwback.

Speaking to CMT, who premiered the clip, about the official music video and the filming day, Sarah Darling said: “The visuals are so important for letting people into the world of how I felt writing this song. The weather was absolutely stunning that day with my own natural wind machine”
