Priscilla Block Releases New Single ‘Peaked In High School’

It’s only been a few months since rising talent Priscilla Block wowed with the release of her stellar self-titled EP and now she is back with new music in the form of the instant hit single titled ‘Peaked In High School’ which is available to download and stream right now across all digital platforms.

Not one to sit back and rest on her laurels, Block has shown a readiness to continue creating and along with sharing the audio for the standout offering she also shared the official lyric video with her growing fanbase adding another layer and dimension to the already brilliant release strategy.

To bring the relatable lyrical story to life, Priscilla Block teamed up with fellow musicians Sarah Jones, Kate Hasting and Josh Beale while Jake Curry, Robbie Artess and Justin F Johnson added the simple production overlay that consists of acoustic guitar backing which allows the striking words of the song to take centre stage.

The fantastically well written and produced country smash is largely inspired by the singer/songwriter’s own High School experience and the feelings of insecurity she felt during those years where popularity and fitting in rule your world in a tough enough time where you’re trying to figure out who you are.

Speaking about the track, and its lyrical inspiration Priscilla Block says: “I wrote this song about anyone who ever made me feel like I wasn’t enough….but I am living proof that high school is NOT the peak and you ARE enough”.
