Aoife Carton Releases New Single ‘Be On Time’
On-the-rise Irish country-pop crossover singer/songwriter Aoife Carton returns today (Thursday, February 17th) with the release of her standout new single titled ‘Be On Time’ which is available to stream and download right now across all leading digital platforms around the world.
The standout offering from the multiskilled music maker has already received some great support across the UK with Matt Spracklen of Absolute Radio Country giving the song a double spin across the last weekend showcasing it has the potential to become a breakout hit within the ever-growing British/Irish scene.
The newest single from Aoife Carton follows on from the stunning success of 2021 singles ‘Who I Am Today,’ and ‘Not What I’m Into’, which broke barriers and saw her gain some serious traction across Ireland and UK with leading radio platforms and music industry insiders throwing their support behind the songs.
And now she is ready to build further on that success with the release of the wonderful ‘Be On Time’ which features a more stripped back production compared to the aforementioned tracks and it allows for Carton to put the spotlight on her enchanting vocal tone that puts her in a lane of her own.
Speaking about her latest release, Aoife Carton says: ‘”Be On Time’ is an honest retelling of a situation I was in some time ago. Love can make you put someone on a pedestal, especially at a young age. On the opposite side of that, there can be a lot of pressure to fit into society, and it can be hard to let down your guard in order to love someone. In this story, I’m so in love that I will show up every time, no matter how many times I’ve been let down. They’re a good person underneath, but it takes stripping them of that hard layer they wear for them to show up. Most of the time, they don’t, and so eventually it all becomes a lie.”
