Alyssa Bonagura Announces New Single ‘Last Night In December’
Fresh from the release of the fan favourite ‘New Wings’, country music inspired singer/songwriter Alyssa Bonagura has announced that she has a brand new single dropping on New Year’s Eve with the emotive ‘Last Night In December’ available to pre-save right now across all platforms.
The forthcoming song is one of four that the multi-skilled performer has co-produced with her close friend and former label mate Tom Jordan of the band Seaforth and it is a powerful, cinematic ballad that tells the heart-wrenching story of all-encompassing love and that last evening together at the end of the year.
The emotional track has been co-written by Alyssa Bonagura alongside Sam Ellis and Jon Nite and it is the perfect follow-on to ‘New Wings’ as it shows the flip side of her soundscape with the hopefulness of the former release being overtaken by the bittersweetness of the gutwrenching words laced throughout ‘Last Night In December’.
The heartfelt track became a firm fan favourite during Alyssa Bonagura’s Instagram Live performances last year during the COVID lockdown and Tom Jordan being one of those viewers enchanted by the song reached out to Alyssa to collaborate on the production and now it will be able to become the hit it was always meant to be when it releases later this month.
Speaking about the single, Alyssa says: “Sometimes memories can turn out to be bittersweet and I love being able to capture a moment in a song because songs are forever, even when some relationships are not.”
