Aoife Carton Announces New Single ‘Not What I’m Into’

Recently, Dublin born, London based country-pop performer Aoife Carter had major success with her single ‘Who I Am Today’ with the track racking up in excess of 25,000 streams and also gaining support from UK radios including the likes of Country Hits Radio, RTÉ Radio 1, 4FM, KFM, KCLR, and Dublin City FM.

And now with her star continuing to rise and her name becoming more well known within the Briitish country music scene, Carton is ready to take her budding career to the next level with the release of her newest single ‘Not What I’m Into’ across all platforms on June 4th.

Her soundscape is an epic fusion blend of pop hooks, and country sensibility that combines an empowering attitude, and enchanting lyrics that are beautifully overlayed with Aoife Carton’s gorgeous vocal, and with her latest offering she incorporates sassy vibes, and banjo strings, set against a dance-worthy backdrop.

Since the age of 15, Aoife has been developing her sound, having always had a love of writing lyrics are very much the core basis of her songs and with this new track she is ready to set alight the genre with her incredible and maturing talent as she looks to become the next breakout star.

Speaking about the single, Aoife Carton says: “Not What I’m Into isn’t actually a new song of mine. I wrote it a few years ago when I was dating someone who was all about games. When I eventually realised that, it was empowering. It’s my favourite song to sing live and after a year of not getting to do that, I decided I wanted to record it. I love the sass in this song and I hope that anyone going through that same experience can have a dance and a singalong in their kitchen”.
